Coaches

Bernhard Kerres has run a concert hall and sat in the C-suite. He now builds leaders who perform when it counts.

For six years, he led the Vienna Concert House, one of the busiest concert houses in the world. Before that, he trained as an opera singer and shared the stage with José Carreras.

He has done the job, not just taught it. CEO of a stock-market-listed technology company, M-Tech AG. CFO and COO at Kapsch CarrierCom. Founder of a startup he took to Silicon Valley, raised money for, and later closed. He holds an MBA from London Business School.

That mix is the point. A conductor brings 80 musicians to a single performance in three rehearsals, with no email and no org chart. Kerres teaches leaders to work the same way: prepare hard, rehearse in low-stakes settings, then perform for real.

Today he designs leadership programs and coaches executives across banking, pharma, and industry. His frameworks - the Rehearsal Gap, PR², the Fifth Stage - come from practice, not textbooks. He extends them with AI tools like RolePlays.ai, so leaders can rehearse the hard conversation before they have it.

Train less. Lead more.

Based in Vienna. Lectures at three universities.
